When you opt in to receive SMS or email messages from Trader & Co., you consent to receiving marketing communications such as promotions, updates, offers, and news. By subscribing to SMS marketing you agree to receive recurring marketing messages; message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply; and your consent is not a condition of purchase.

To opt out, click the unsubscribe link in any text or email, or reply HELP to any SMS for assistance. We comply with the Australian Spam Act 2003.

5. SMS abandoned cart notifications

Our website uses cookies to keep track of items you put into your shopping cart, including when a cart is abandoned. If you have opted in to SMS marketing, this information is used to determine when to send cart reminder messages via SMS.

6. How we store & protect your information

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, or disclosure. Your data may be stored securely in Square (POS and loyalty), Klaviyo (SMS and email marketing), and our secure internal systems. These providers use industry-standard security protocols.

7. Sharing your information

We may share your information with trusted service providers such as email and SMS platforms, payment processors, website and analytics services, and loyalty program providers. These partners can only use your information to perform services on our behalf. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties — we will never sell or disclose your SMS opt-in data.
